Terms, Conditions, & Policies

Participation Agreement

I am voluntarily participating in yoga classes, health programs, workshops, and/or other wellness, bodywork, therapy, exercise, and healing arts activities (collectively, the “Activities”) offered by Wild Root Yoga LLC (the “School”). These Activities may take place at the physical location of the School or online via videos, television, podcasts, apps, or other designated places. All such offerings, whether in-person or online, are considered “Activities.”

1. Physical and Mental Health
I understand that it is my responsibility to be in suitable physical and mental health to participate in the Activities. I recognize that some Activities may require intense physical exertion, and I confirm that I am physically capable to participate. I have no medical condition that would prevent me from engaging in these Activities. I acknowledge that the Activities may cause or exacerbate physical injuries or medical conditions, and I understand it is my responsibility to consult a physician prior to participation. If I have sought medical advice, I have followed the recommendations given. The School reserves the right to refuse my participation in any Activity for medical or fitness reasons or other grounds.

2. Potential Risks
I understand that my participation in the Activities may lead to physical injury, including but not limited to high blood pressure, fainting, heartbeat disorders, physical injury, heart attack, or stroke. I am also aware that pre-existing injuries may be aggravated. I recognize my physical limitations and take full responsibility to modify or stop participation before risking injury or exacerbating a pre-existing condition.

3. Assumption of Risk
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Activities, I assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, that may result from my participation. This includes risks that may arise from the negligence of the School.

4. Waiver of Claims
I voluntarily and expressly waive any and all claims ("Claims") against the School, its owners, managers, teachers, instructors, workshop presenters, employees, independent contractors, and staff (each a “Released Party”) arising from my participation in the Activities, even if such claims result from negligence. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless each Released Party from any loss, cost, or liability incurred in defending any Claim made by me or on my behalf, even if the Claim results from negligence.

5. Release of Liability
I, my heirs, or legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue any Released Party for any Claims caused by the negligence or other acts of a Released Party.

6. Media Consent
I understand that the School may record classes or events through photographs or videos, and I consent to the use of my image in such recordings for promotional or commercial purposes.

7. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any legal actions or proceedings related to this agreement will take place in Ohio courts. If any part of this agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will still be effective.

8. Acknowledgment
I have carefully read and fully understand this agreement. I acknowledge that by signing, I am waiving substantial rights, including my right to sue.
